I love Chick Fil A and wherever I travel to if they have one I have to eat there. This one was a newer location with great friendly service, and outdoor seating. I sat outside with my dog and when the lady brought our food to us, she brought a little bowl with 3 dog biscuits in it for my dog. That was awful sweet of her. I tried the grilled nuggets for the first time ever and they were delicious!

Not bad. I was worried when my partner brought me here given their history and the fact that I am a visible trans woman but we ordered ate in, in, out, no problem. I do still must take issue with them donating money to anti lgbt Hate groups recognized by the southern poverty law center. But they got some good chicken even if they are a bit homophobic. As they say, no such thing as ethical consumption under late capitalism.

I have never been disappointed with this Chick-Fil-A. Staff is always very friendly and accommodating, food has always been great, not much in terms of waiting time...I can't complain whatsoever. Even if you have a larger order and have to wait slightly longer, it's still pretty quick. A lot of places should learn customer service from this staff. Keep up the great work!

Sorry, everyone. I don't like Chick-fil-A. The food is on the lower spectrum of "OK" for me. The chicken noodle soup was thick. The spicy chicken sandwich had that uneven top/bottom bun, which leads to the smaller half sort of tearing and becoming compressed with your food. It also was not spiced or flavorful... BUT... this place has excellent service. The employees are very kind and there's even someone to walk around and offer you refills/etc.

We came here after the Adult Video Emporium Spectacular in Orland Park which was a great time. I have never been but Gabby wanted to come here and eat the chickens and I wanted wings. I got the honey bbq wings and diet coke she got a veggie pizza and the Cunnilingus burger all was wonderful, but the service is poor real poor. Portions are small and it's pricey. I like Culvers better.

The best spicy chicken sandwich, anywhere! I didn't add any condiments, nor did I need them. It's just push your momma down to get to it, good. Can't believe I never tried it before now! ANDREW is just awesome in the drive, his enthusiastic attitude and satisfaction focused service is very uncommon and quite impressive! He could either do his job and take orders, or create an experience for the customer that they will not find elsewhere, and he has mastered the latter!

So glad Orland has a Chik-fil-a. Reminds me of living in FL. This location does not disappoint. The staff here is very friendly, which seems par for the course at all Chik-fil-a locations I have visited. Food is fresh, comes out quickly, and is often times delivered right to our table. They don't charge me extra for sauces which is so much appreciated, as I love the barbeque sauce. I love that they have placemats for the toddler as well as cheerios if he can't make it 5 minutes before his nuggets are ready. The bathrooms are clean, and the playplace is too. We love coming here and if we didn't have to fight the weekend Orland traffic we'd probably come more often. 4 stars is due to the parking as it can get quite tight in there. Not sure if this is the fault of the business itself but that's what kept me from giving them 5 stars.

Very impressed with the atmosphere and the staff. Jennifer was awesome and she very calmly explained to me why I ordered a breakfast meal (with the same number ) as the lunch meal I received instead. While it was totally my fault Jennifer allowed me a card to eventually get the meal I requested at a subsequent visit. Who does that? Thank you Jennifer and by the way the meals that my wife and I received were pretty darn good. The place was clean and the staff constantly inquired to assist us. Great place!

Came here on a very busy Saturday night with our toddler. Staff was so cheery and helpful. Food was great. Had a nugget kids meal, spicy chicken sandwich and a grilled market salad. Fruit that came with kids meal was very impressive and fresh. Salad was delicious and just the right size. It was a little pricey (around $8) but if you're willing to pay for quality, then it's great. Restaurant was very clean, even though they were really busy with lots of families. Completely impressed and will return. ***fed our family of three for $20!***

Went for breakfast because I was in a rush... ordered two chicken biscuit sandwiches and a sweet tea without no ice. When asked for the sauce I only got one... why? I have no idea AND with two sandwiches I should not have to ask for another just seems simple math. Oh and the sweet tea with no ice. It was drowning in ice! nearly 1/4 of the cup was ice. I don't know if this was bizarro day or someone's idea of a joke. But I was not happy.

I love this place. The food is always great. Service is great (the my pleasure thing is a little annoying lol but it's company policy so what can you do). They walk around and offer to take your garbage a derail your drink for you. Hell, even the general manager picks up garbage off the floor him self and took my tray from me and threw it out himself! This place is almost always busy so you will get the screaming kids but such is life when you have a play pen. I'm not very religious so I think the "closed on Sundays" is kind of stupid especially when so many go out to eat on the weekend. All in all, probably one of my favorite (chain) fast food places around! Give it a shot!

This place is like San Antonio Spurs equivalent of fast food. They're a model of consistency and success. Everybody on the team buys into the system and it produces tangible results. Whether it's Tim Duncan's patented bank shot or Betty at the register saying "my pleasure" to everything I say, the superstars are what make these things successful. Sometimes I wanna slather myself up in barbecue sauce and pretend I'm a chicken nugget.

Good food! Staff was friendly as well! Pleased for the most part! It took a little time for staff member to get our order correctly but I chalked it up to busy day moving to fast... Over all Good!

The 5 stars are for excellent fast food, great service, excellent values, and a friendly atmosphere. The chicken is fresh and from good trustworthy farms. They always have plenty of coupons as well. :-)

Every time I have been here service has been above and beyond. They are all super friendly! I come here for waffle fries and chick-fil-a sauce. Seriously. I have to buy the larger containers x2 because that stuff is more addicting than crack. My husband thinks I'm insane because I have the smaller containers in my purse and pull them out at any restaurant we are at (most recently TGI Friday). He is only slightly embarrassed. They had awesome carrot salad that they recently took off the menu (boooo!!!) and the lemonade is a must. My husband enjoys the chicken. But seriously, it's all waffle fries and chick-fil-a-crack sauce over here!

I have been going back at breakfast and it is much better now as to product quality. Much better chicken biscuit fresh not old anymore. Staff is always friendly and nice allmost too nice but now worth going to again.

Love chic fila. Only problem is the chicken nuggets sometimes they are hit or miss. Occasionally their perfectly crispy, and occasionally soggy. Otherwise love it. What's up with being closed on Sundays?

Probably one of the better chicken sandwiches I've had. Keep in mind this is a fast food place and may not be as healthy as you think. If you want a change of pace from a mcd's try this place

There are people from my town that drive 45 minutes to go to this location just for a chicken sandwich. I figured that it must be some kind of epic chicken that bestows all of the secrets to life's great answers or that something magical must happen when you eat one of these sandwiches. I was sadly disappointed. (This part is a joke.) Don't get me wrong, the sandwich was pretty good, but it didn't change my world. I might get chastised for this but I actually find that the spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's is better than the spicy chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-A. I would be willing to go back and try something else and I might like it better. For now, I have to give it 3 stars as I don't really consider myself a converted Chick-fil-A fan yet. HOWEVER, I want to give a shoutout to Chick-fil-A. I think it's great when businesses are closed on Sundays and I wish that more retail places would do the same.

  • Ruben G.

One can't go wrong w/their chicken sandwiches and lemonade. The fries are addicting. I don't typically eat fast food, but Chick-fil-A is the exception. My reasons for giving them 5 stars? Simple: fast, courteous service w/a smile, fresh/hot food, clean...very clean dinning area(....restrooms as well...) and a speedy; efficient drive-thru, if you're in a rush.

I really don't agree with this Company's values or politics but you know what they serve up a mean chicken sandwich and are really friendly and that is what I needed for a four star review. Yes - My chicken sandwich and fries were delicious. What impressed me most was how the staff dealt with the clientele. There was about 40 total patrons in the place and maybe 10 of the seemed like genuine happy people. The other 75% of the patrons just seemed angry with life, with very bitter attitudes who appeared to think that they were more important than the next person. This is just how they the acted with each other. You can imagine how they wee going to treat the staff. They did not let me down in the least and behaved exactly as I predicted. ( Maybe I just came in at t hes wrong time?). The staff amazed me with how friendly and hospitable they remained throughout this whole process. I have to say I have NEVER witnessed this before in my life. I have been mistreated by staff before. But I have NEVER seen staff being treated like this by a bunch of customers for really no apparent reaons. To this day I can't wrap my mind around this and the whole phenomenon completely puzzles me. I wish I had more time to sit there to observe. My hats off to the crew here for remaning hospitable in the face of what could have been rather ugly encounters

I've had Chik-Fil-A a few times and I just don't get what all the hype is about. I mean its decent, but people flip out for this place! Huge points off for this location and my last experience for the drive through wait. I'd say I waited at least 12 minutes in the drive through lane. I will say the staff was very apologetic for the wait, but it was super frustrating at the same time. It's one of those drive though's that once you enter your committed, you can't sneak out if its taking too long. The food is average, your basic chicken sandwhich and the waffle fries are nice but really bland on their own. Kudo's to the friendly staff, but they need to work on the drive through experience.

The Bolingbrook location at 245 N Weber road has an excellent staff that is always friendly. and helpful, best Chick-Fil-A I have ever been to. And I have been to a lot of them in other states.

I have tried this place at least 10 times thinking I must be visiting on off days. I read all the positive reviews and think I must be missing something. I have tried the sandwiches, strips, salads, sides. Pretty much everything. The chicken seems really slimy to me. I will give 2 stars because the drive-thru moves pretty fast and the staff has always been pleasant. I will not continue to torture myself though.

Far from the best chicken sandwich there is. Just a generic type of establishment that advertises right. Nothing to see here

I will give an honest review as possible about the food and service. I have tried: The chicken strips, chicken sandwiches (regular and spicy), fries and fresh-squeezed lemonade. The food is 3 stars. It would be 4; but the waffle fries are awful. Soggy and unseasoned. :-( I normally just buy the chicken and make my own fries at home. Also, the reason the food gets a 3 star rating is because the last time I got the chicken strips, they were pinkish and slightly under-cooked on the inside. Typically, the strips are juicy and delicious though. Not sure what happened with that last batch. Chicken sandwiches are passable, but nothing to write home about. The "spicy" sandwich did not taste even remotely as spicy as the one from Wendy's. I was disappointed! The lemonade is awesome though...Would recommend! Looking to give the breakfast food a try next. The service gets 5 stars. I have never had sub-par service. They don't just say the script, they MEAN it. :-D This is why, I give this location a total of 4 stars.

Where's the beef? I don't know why Southerns LOVE this place. I mean, it's JUST chicken. Chickety china the chinese chicken............All the hype, but just tastes like um any other chicken sandwich. It does have a cleaner environment than most fast food places do though. simply its fast food. healthier spin, and they don't kill cows. Chickens go to die here. a chicken graveyard. Good thing i like chicken. THey are excellent at making the fast food chicken taste better than any other fast food chicken. And the workers are quite friendly here. It was a good experience with fast food :)

I asked for my sandwich plain and you know what I got? A chicken sandwich plain, but lurking beneath the filet... PICKLES. I don't know who came up with that sick joke but pickles don't belong on chicken, period end of story. (The line and wait was also pretty long and the waffle fries didn't move me either. BUT PICKLES)

I LOVE Chick-fil-a, and have ever since a friend introduced them to me many years ago in Georgia. When this one opened I was extremely happy. I have never been disappointed with the food or the service; it's always excellent. And bonus, it's gluten free. I'm sure you ask how it's possible since its fried chicken. Well, the fried chicken isn't. But you can get the grilled chicken and the fries because the fries are cooked in a separate fryer from the chicken and therefore no cross-contamination when cooked. The only recommendation I have is to avoid the place on Saturday around lunch time. It gets crazy busy.

My very first Chicago area Chick-Fil-A experience, and it didn't disappoint one bit! (except for the sad fact my friend in the southwest suburbs was too busy to meet me here the night I went, but hopefully it won't be the case next visit) It's still very packed in the evening(and I happened to hit it during the evening rush), but this location did an excellent job of handling the masses of people coming to eat. Drive-thru lane seemed to be flowing well too, and they even had 2-3 people out there guiding traffic in that lane(very smart move on their part, and this one was running better than the location I reviewed some time back in the south Atlanta suburbs). First time I ever got a spicy chicken deluxe sandwich, and it didn't disappoint. Also the first time I ever tried a mixed sweet tea and lemonade drink(called an 'Arnold Palmer'), but will just stick to the lemonade next time(and which I did get a refill of, before leaving). They currently have a seasonal peppermint and chocolate chip milkshake, which I of course enjoyed. This location also even has an indoor playground area, if you happen to come here with kids. And a few outdoor tables, to(I'm sure) handle the occasional overflow of all indoor tables being used(and I only saw one open table inside that I grabbed, right before getting my food). Closed on Sundays, like all other C-F-A's. (but I'm sure most who've at least heard of C-F-A, if not eaten there, knew that)

This location always provides an upbeat and friendly atmosphere. The service inside as well as the drive-thru is quick and the food is fresh. They listen to your requests and make every attempt to accommodate within reason. The chicken sandwiches, salads, etc. are all very, very good but the chicken minis for breakfast are absolutely delicious! I only wish they served them all day.

Went here for my first time yesterday and i absolutely loved it. i walked in and had enough time to look over the menu and see what i wanted. the workers at the register were super friendly and made you feel really welcomed. he even made some small talk with me and brought the food right out to me. i sat there to eat and it was a really nice place to sit and eat at. as i left they told me to have a nice day and normally fast food places don't do that and i love when places say that. overall excellent place and i will definitely go back.

I've known people who are Chick-Fil-A addicts, but I never felt the urge to drive all the way out to Orland to see what the fuss was about. I love chicken, especially Popeye's, but how good could CFA possibly be? Then we had all that hub-bub about the CFA boycott when the president of the company stated his support for traditional marriage. Well. Every newspaper and TV news program relentlessly forced everyone in the Chicago area--actually, the entire country--to think and talk about CFA continually. I was like one of Pavlov's dogs: it got so I couldn't glance at a headline or newsfeed without salivating over the very thought of a scrumptious Chick Fil A sandwich. I finally caved in and took a drive out to Orland, where a friend and I had dinner. The food was DELICIOUS. Moist and tender, very fresh. Those weird signature waffle fries are good, too, but not Earth-shattering. I have never experienced such friendly service in my life. As for the whole Traditional Marriage Controversy, or the TMC at CFA, the company's actual policies are non-discriminatory. Gays are employed by, and patronize, CFA. I don't have a problem with anyone boycotting any company or person for whatever reason, but at least get the facts "straight" ! And think about it: if you refuse to give a company business based on the personal opinion of ONE person, exactly where would you shop? I know a sticking point has been that CFA gives donations to groups that are anti-gay marriage, and that would be a dilemma for some people. ( I personally don't patronize Best Buy because of their support of CAIR. ) But CFA has recently agreed not to make such donations in the future. They've also made some other changes as a nod to people who don't feel they're inclusive enough. I hope that the people who pushed the boycott now do the right thing and publicize the changes CFA has made. Unfortunately, especially among individuals who ONLY read the headlines and nothing more, a lot of people still wrongly assume that "CFA is anti-gay." Those people should be made aware that CFA is no longer a deserving member of a boycott, AND they should go out of their way to eat at CFA. If they continue to stay away because of some ill-thought out principle, that's a poor reflection on them.

Well well well This awesomely tanned man(even in winter) FINALLY made it to this place. And I was starvin!! The people that work there are so nice! Everyone greets you and asks if you need a re-fill!!!!! I am so not used to this kind of service at a fast food joint. Service is top notch!!! I became a huge fan of Chick-fil-a after being introduced a couple of years ago. My family ALWAYS stops for chicken sandwiches, fries, and shakes whenever we're in the neighborhood. We were disappointed when Calumet City got a Sonics restaurant instead of Chick-fil-a. My four-year-old literally jumps up and down when we announce a visit. Regarding the anti-gay charges: Chick-fil-a is open about its Christian-based roots. In fact, the restaurant is closed on Sundays in honor of keeping the Sabbath day holy. Not to get preachy or anything, but if you're a Christian and you honor what is instructed in the bible, then you honor Leviticus 18:22-24: You must not have sexual intercourse with a man as you would with a woman; it is a detestable practice. You will not have sexual relations with any animal, becoming unclean by it. Nor will a woman present herself before an animal to mate with it; it is a perversion. Do not make yourselves unclean in any of these ways because that is how the nations that I am throwing out before you became unclean [see Rome]. Now ... with that being said, whatever you do is what you do. But how can you claim yourself as a victim and boycott / prevent others from doing business, because they do not agree with your agenda? Boycotting Chick-fil-a is no longer a matter of gay rights, but a matter of restricting those who disagree. If bestiality ever becomes the "New Normal", I will still maintain my personal stance that it is a disgusting act and relationship ... and those who engage in such acts will simply have to suck it up and agree to disagree with my opinion - just like I'd have to suck it up and agree to disagree with theirs! They don't have to start a movement to boycott my business or prevent my establishment from opening. If you're really trying to gain equality and freedom (instead of extorting or bullying people to adopt YOUR beliefs as their own), then let the majority continue to enjoy their feast at Chick-fil-a.

I'd give my sandwich a 5 star rating iffff they'd put the sauce on the sandwich before they serve it! They do the Arby's thing. I hate that. If you are driving you have to park somewhere, carefully open up the sauce cup pour it on the bun while trying desperately not getting it on you clothes, seats or steering wheel. Then dumping the expended cup in the sack on top of your uneaten food. Errrg. However, just like Arby's sauce on roast beef, Chick-fil-A's "original" sauce is so much better than anything else on chicken that you have EVER tasted you sorta say-- okay I'll deal with it just so I can taste the wonderful goodness of this stuff. The window servers actually ask you your name and how your day is, and what plans do you have for the weekend while you are waiting. You kinda want to look around and say "Is this a fast food place?" In the decades I've visited Mickey D's I've never been asked what my name was. Never--not once. Little things..it's these little things I remember. They made me feel like I am somebody even though you know I'm just a workin' shlub. I'm not a Mayor nor a Governor or a President--you know, the important and smarter people. I have never gone to a C-f-A before. I went this time to rebel against "Mayor I Know Better Than All of Youse." Otherwise known as MIKBTAOY! Yes, his name IS as screwy as his un-American thinking. I take my C-f-A Peach shake and raise it say'in, Here's to you MIKBTAOY, (pronounced Mik-batay-oy) for without you I never would have found the best dang tastin' chicken sandwich ever. I love America!!

I was extremely disappointed in this place. I got the chicken strips, waffle fries and a Diet Dr Pepper. People rave about the chicken, but I found it disgusting. The breading was soggy, dark to the point of being close to burned, falling off the strips, flavorless and cold. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The fries were just OK and even the soda was kind of gross. It tasted more of the carbonated water and not enough of the soda flavor. I was going to give them another chance, but in light of the recent developments with the owner of the company and his bias against LGBT, I will not go back. He has the right to free speech, but I have the right to spend my money where I want. The food was nasty, and now I have no incentive to ever go back and try it again.

Dear Chik-fil-A CEO, Oh My GOSH! I L-O-V-E this place and your concept! I had the spicy chicken combo with hot jack cheese, waffle fries, and a cookies-and-cream shake. It was soooo good. I know this is fastfood, but this place is top on my list for "I dont wanna cook" nights. They have healthy options for when you want to be good and they have the not so healthy. I LOVE,LOVE,LOVE THIS PLACE AND DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK. ALSO,WE WENT THROUGH THE DRIVE-THRU AND IT WAS PRETTY FAST SERVICE SO THAT WAS ANOTHER PLUS. Next, time I'll try the nuggets and a strawberry shake:) P.S. Please build one closer to South Holland IL. Thanks:)

Somewhere between a three or four star place, but saying you're a fan to me, means you'd go out of your way to dine here. Whereas, this was more of a I'm in the area, and they don't have any of these close to me, so I'll take advantage of it. I like to get the salad with the three strips of chicken on it, yes I even get the fried version, heck no bun, no mayo, and the low-fat dressing I figure I can cheat a little bit. In actually I looked up the nutritional value on it and it doesn't break the bank. The salads here seem a step up from most other fast food joints, so while I wouldn't make my way out here from my house, if I'm up this way and need a bite, yes I'd definitely go back, especially since I've sworn off those other burger places. Oh yes, I get it some people equate chicken with country style foods. But please, can you can the country music? It's the mid-west after all.

I really can't get over the staff at Chick-fil-A - always professional, always polite, they smile, make eye contact and the uniforms always look clean and pressed. Keep it up - the professionalism keeps me coming back. That and the fresh biscuit sandwiches in the morning.

I just went there for the first time, I have never even heard of them before, I am not a fast food person, but I must admit it was the best chicken sandwich I have ever had, the fries are waffle fries, different but tasty, and the girl her name was chrissy, was the most polite kid I have ever seen at a fast food place, I will go back without a doubt.

I stopped by this southern iconic fast food place and ordered a spicy chicken sandwich deluxe. I have to say, it was good. I waited a while, but the girl working there stopped by to give me a free shake coupon and apologize for the long wait. I like that, because you can't make every order come out fast. But she did something about it, which is all you can do. The food was good and the service was good. Why do I only give it three stars? Well, the menu is as big as a #5 and #6 from Wendy's. I understand they don't do meat, but can't I get like some kind of crazy chicken wrap that I can't get anywhere else? What about some ridiculous mash potatoes. Feed me. Give me some southern grub in my face. The other thing that keeps this from being four stars is the condiments. Why would you put ranch and buffalo sauce in plastic? A place with chicken this good should be doing house made ranch that doesn't taste like some fake salad dressing from some corporate food science giant. If dinging a place because they don't give me 100% real food makes me a prick, guess what... I'm a prick. That said, overall it was good.

I'm happy to report that my first meal, and review of 2011 is for Chick-Fil-a. YAY!!!! (AND they were giving away a free chicken sandwich to everyone!!) I went through the drive-thru and service was fast, friendly and efficient. While there were a slew of hungover people in the long line of cars, my wait was about maybe 5 minutes. Food was your typical fare, but was piping hot, and good. I'm so glad I was out this way to feed my need for chick-fil-a!

I love this place! The food is great, the lemonade is AWESOME, the vision of the company is pure, and the way the employees always say "My Pleasure" instead of "You're Welcome" is fresh as well. My only beef is that they went out of their way a lot more when it first opened up (talking to you, cleaning up your tables, getting more drinks, a la a sit down restaurant, etc.) than they do now. Still great CS, though...

I grew up loving chick fil a and I was so excited when one opened up near me. The customer service is always great and they put great emphasis on this. I recommend the nuggets or even one of their salads as well as the fries or fruit salad. They have a lot of healthy options for those eating fast food but not wanting the fast food calories. Overall Im very happy to have one nearby again

I went to law school in a Southern state, and had heard others rave about Chik-fil-a, so while on a shopping trip through Orland Park decided to see what the fuss was about as Chick-fil-a continues their slow advance into Yankee country. In short, this is fast food done perfectly; how fast food service shoudl be. Not sure if this is common to all CFAs, or just the one in Orland, but the order-takers were extremely friendly. Likewise, for the quality of food received, it was out surprisingly quickly. The order-taker SUGGESTED extra packets of sauce, instead of sneering at me and my food-smothering sauce-fetish like a certain other fast food place with arches who shall remain nameless. The food was good too! It's very easy to overdo chicken, especially in a fast-food environment, but the chicken was moist and crisp, the veggies fresh, and the bun RELATIVELY held its shape. I had a chicken sandwich and spicy chicken, and my only complaint was that the spicy didn't deliver on the fire. Other than that, I'd say get a few more around these, and it may some day challenge Taco Bell for my fast-food love.

My wife, oldest son and I were all in the Orland Park area today. We were heading home and since Maria has been wanting to try Chick-fil-A we decided let's stop in and order us some chicken. Now none of us have ever tried Chick-fil-A and it is suppose to be quite popular. The place sure was jam packed for a Saturday afternoon. We ordered three chicken sandwiches, a chicken strip, a chicken nugget, a chicken soup (you better like chicken if you are coming here), 3 fries and a coke (we are not pigs! we are also bringing some food home for our younger two children too). The total bill came to roughly $33 dollars. The food was plain just average, fast food fare. I will say though that the service was super friendly and extremely courteous. As I always say, you should always give a place a try at least once and we gave Chick-fil-A a try, probably not again though for our family.

I visited Chik-Fil-A this past Saturday night & ordered a chicken fingers meal for myself, chicken nibblers for my daughter, and a lemon pie to share with my husband. Their chicken sort of reminds me of a watered down KFC recipe. There wasn't much crunch to the tender, so I guess it lived up to its name! I didn't care for the buffalo or smoked bbq sauces but they were OK. The waffle fries were good! I'd order those again! My 1-year old enjoyed her chicken cubes (yes, cubes). The lemon pie was yummy yummy & DID NOT get shared with my hubby!. I would visit Chik-Fil-A again just for fries and pie; otherwise just pass it by!

I am not a fast food guy. I have also never had Chick-fil-a. I went for the first time and it was delicious. The sandwiches you get look a lot like what you'd get at any other fast food place, but they taste way better. The chicken seems a lot more like real chicken than what you receive elsewhere. The flavor was great. They also serve waffle fries which is a plus. They have about 10 dipping sauces to choose from which make it even better. This location was extremely busy when I visited, but they had plenty of employees who were ready to serve you. They were all very pleasant and polite. Much more so than you'd expect. I'd suggest you give this place a try. You might be surprised.

I absolutely love chick-fil-a. I first fell for this place when I was down in Atlanta visiting a friend. They took me to this place I never heard of and they told me they had the best chicken sandwiches. I was a but pessimistic because I thought all chicken sandwiches were all the same, boy was I wrong. I always get the# 4 The spicy chicken if without a doubt the best. The prefect blend of juicy chicken with a great spice to it. The soft bun and pickle round out the sandwich. I always get extra pickles too. The waffle fries are also great. Nice and crisp on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside. I also love this place fire the vary array of sauces. My personal favorites are the chick-fil-a sauce and the Polynesian. If you're looking for a great chicken sandwich you needed not look any further than chick-fil-a!!

This place is everything I could ask for and more. The food is delicious. It's a good thing I don't live near it because it could end up causing me major issues in my wallet and my waistline! Their breakfast is great. Their lunch is great. The prices are a little higher than say, a McDonalds is. But their food is proportionally better! The place is clean too! They have a nice play area for the kids and it's always clean and not grimy or scary like the playlands at McD's or other comparable places. The table tops and chairs are always clean too. You feel comfortable sitting there and socializing for a bit without worrying about what disgusting-ness is surrounding you and your kids. They have great promotions too. Free breakfast days, free chicken nugget days, bingo for the seniors and crafts for the kids. If you have your hands full with your children, they'll come out from behind the counter and help carry your drinks and stuff to your table for you, you don't even have to ask them. I've even had them come up to me at my table and ask me if I wanted them to get me a refill on my pop! I don't get involved with the politics of the owner. That's a whole separate issue. But if you're looking for good food and/or a good place to let your kids play for a while, this is the place to be!

I don't get the fascination with this place. I went here shortly after it opened--my sister lived in the South for years and raved about this place. It's lost on me. Tastes like any other fast food joint just more expensive. Someone please tell me what I'm missing????I've been there twice and have had the chicken sandwich and the nuggets and I can't ever imagine going out of my way, let alone returning.

Tried regular chicken sandwich, besides the bun being soft and soggy, it was fine. Service was prompt and courteous! Nice touch with a choice of french fries. Would try it again, maybe just got a "bad bun!" Looking forward to Willowbrook location opening in the Spring of 2014.

Following the sentiment of other reviews, it was just "OK" It was my first time having Chick-fil-a as well. I went with the spicy chicken deluxe meal. I thought it was a bit pricey for small bag of waffle fries and a sandwich, but it was solid enough. I do like waffle fries. I went inside and didn't wait very long at all- maybe 10 minutes. If I was hungry, it was lunch and i was close by I'd consider it; other than that I probably won't be craving this anytime soon.

I think the people that reside in the southern burbs are definitely glad that this southern gem came up our way. I used to only be able to get Chick-Fil-A once a year, where I somehow ended up taking trips to various parts of the country where one was present. I have to start off by saying that the waffle fries are what suckers me in for sure. I love that these fries are so hot every time we get them (along with the rest of the food) and I also love how they are not coated in iodized salt. It is a nice contrast from most fast food fries. I always get their spicy chicken sandwich-EXTRA PICKLES! Also, their slew of sauces is divine. There isn't just ketchup and mustard here. You have an option of about 6 different sauces. Polynesian & Buffalo are definitely my favourites. Beware, the buffalo sauce will probably burn your retinas. The lemonade has to be part of your order. I think it is fresh squeezed, but I cannot be sure. The service here is fast and the drive thru has this neat little camera system so you can actually see who you're speaking to while ordering. Kind of creepy/awesome. One complaint that I have is that the fries get terrrrrribly soggy within 10 minutes upon receiving them. Some people are into that kind of thing, I however, am not. I like my food piping hot and my fried food CRUNCHAYYY! You know where I'm coming from on this, right?! Um, can I please make a suggestion?? START OFFERING WAFFLE/FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICHES. Would it be that much harder? That is such a delicious combination. The waffle would substitute the bun. It would be scrumptious with a capital S. I spend way too much of my money here, but I feel satisfied without feeling gross afterward. Check it out if you're in the area! Remember what the cow says, "EAT MORE CHICK'N!"

Just had lunch at chik fil a after shopping at Binnys. Went through the drive thru. Took forever. Had the spicey chcken wrap with no cheese. It had chees and it was not spicey. The wrap was falling apart. The lady must have known our order was jacked up because she gave free sandwich coupons. Next time just get it right.

I have LOVED the chicken sandwiches at this chain since high school (20+ years). We were thrilled to get free coupons for their new spicey chicken biscuit. WOW! It was tasty! My daughter had the sausage biscuit and ate every bite. The manager and staff were welcoming (yes, in this FAST food place). It was very clean. We had a wonderful meal and will return!

FINALLY. I have tried Chick-Fil-A. I got the requisite chicken sandwich (with some waffle fries!) and despite the greasy, soggy bun it was pretty good. The customer service was very good, some nice folks work here. I can't imagine seeing that at Chicago's soon-to-be-made Chick-Fil-A in Water Tower! On the other hand that is a way more shorter commute. If you are in the area, stop in if you have never had it. P.S. What did I have to drink? A Dr. Pepper of course! It was however not "fo free"!

OK I will say that was a good chicken sandwich. Not sure about all the hoopla surrounding this place coming to Orland but a good sandwich none the less. The fries are like a thick waffle cut. They are also very quick & I mean quick. There was concert like traffic on it's first week of being open but still got out of the drive through in 5 minutes.

I've been to Chick Fil A's in Indianapolis, IN, Moline, IL, & Fairview Heights, IL and this is second best behind Moline. The service is at times slow, the dining room is small and crowded but the chicken is very good. Its nice to have one close to home. Today the service was good, the manager was very positve, openly thanked the counter staff and at times was cheering and spelling out H-A-P-P-Y in a southern accent, it was corny but nice to see the workers getting positive reinforcement, wish I'd get that on my job. Will keep coming here.

After listening to the Hype and that's all it is...I went there twice, second time just to give a second chance, maybe the first time I was wrong. No...I was right the first time. First...overpriced, the quality of that food is not worth the money. You should know to expect greasy food, but come on...its soggy, the fries are tasty...but the oil is too much, afterwards I suggest you stay close to a bathroom. ( If your constipated this is your go to place!) Same goes with the sandwiches' or nuggets, it just comes down to what it is...the food sucks and you are just getting raped for the money. Also, you would expect better service, both times it felt like we were interrupting the person behind the counters day...no smiles, same person both times...she didn't listen and screwed up my order on two different visits...how do you screw up PLAIN CHICKEN SANDWICH...oh she knew how. The nuggets are dog food, way over cooked no flavor but the grease it's cooked in. My suggestion is don't waste your money, go to Popeye's, Hooters, or even Red Robin for a better chicken sandwich.

:::wipes drool off keyboard::::; hmmmmm! CHICK-FIL-A! I've always heard about this place, and how it was THE place for the yummiest chicken sandwichs with waffle fries down south and I was glad to find they opened one in Tinley Park (Orland Mall is one of my to-go to places for shopping, and it's down the street from Chick-fil-a, so it's not too out of my way!). I've been there three times since it's opened, and it's been hit with my tastebuds and appetite every single time! I'm obsessed with their spicy chicken sandwich (spicy battered chicken breast, with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles) and can't get enough of their savory waffle fries. For dessert, I've been getting their cheesecake, which is excellent, even plain! Even though their chicken sandwiches are better than the average, I think what sets Chick-fil-a apart is the hospitality of their staff. They ARE a fast food joint, but expect someone greeting you when you arrive, extremely friendly cashiers, and servers checking up periodically throughout your meal making sure you have enough ketchup, need a refill on your drink, or would like some extra dessert. Chick-fil-a has become my favorite place to grab a bite to eat before a shopping trip at Orland Mall! And now, I'm craving a Spicy Chicken Sandwich! Chick-fil-a, might I suggest you open a location in South Chicago? You already have one loyal customer! :)

Same as the review of the one in Wheaton. Always packed. Quick and smiling service, and yes, I will make an hour trip away to get Chick-fil-a.

I just don't understand what all the hype is about this place. I ordered a deluxe fried chicken sandwich with fries and a drink. The chicken was just way over battered, I mean, that's all I could taste and it didn't have much seasoning either. The waffle fries were pretty good though, The service was fast and everyone was extremely nice. They have different types of dipping sauces which were pretty good. I honestly would rather go to MC Donald's or a grease pit for a chicken sandwich. Not worth the 7 bucks in my opinion. Nothing more then just ordinary.

Ugh this place is gross. I got chicken nuggets and they were soggy on the outside. Their waffle fries were cold and bland. But i give it 2 stars for their ads. The cow is cute and like that it spells chicken all goofy. woop woop!

I basically lived off a their nuggets in college. Soon as I heard they were putting one in Orland I couldn't wait to have it again. The sit down service is excellent for a fast food restaurant. The nuggets and fries taste just like they did in college!

Tried Chick-fil-a for the first time, decent sandwich, don't know what all the fuss was about. Will have to try other menu items and see, when I'm in the mood for a chicken sandwich, I'll definetly consider Chick-fil-a first.

Went Chick Fil A first night they opened. Looked real busy from outside with the tents and employees directing traffic but I walked in ordered my food, ate and left within 25 minutes. First time trying a Chick Fil A, so i was not sure what to expect. Ordered spicy chicken sandwich and was not impressed. It was good not great, expected something better. I will have to try something else too see if they are as good as everyone says.

A chicken sandwich. It's bread, a piece of chicken and that's it. Chick-fil-a adds a pickle, big effin deal. It's great marketing, not a wonderful product. I think its very expensive considering two value meals cost the same as a meal for two at a local sit down place.

How can they be a chain specializing in chicken and mess it up? Whenever I go there, the chicken is dried out and lacking. The only thing I like in that place is the waffle fries with some honey mustard/ranch aka Chick Fil A sauce. Their lemonade isn't bad but lemonade and waffle fries do not draw me in wanting more.

People are lame, I'd give this 10 stars. They are a cheerful and really friendly staff, service is great and not to mention when my credit card was declined once, they gave the food and it said it was free!! The best customer service I've seen in Orland Park. hands down!

Finally a Chick-Fil-A close to home, prior to this opening I have only had this when I was in Florida. Good food and great service, what more can you ask for.

Not sure what all the hype is about. The chicken is okay, the fries are no big deal, and it's a little pricey.

Simply put. The way chicken should be cooked. Its juicy because they do not over cook their chicken. What a novel Idea. Good fast food. Plus they have an indoor playground for the little ones if anyone was interested.

I am soooooo happy that Chick-fil-a is finally in the chicagoland area!! I'm actually surprised at the number of people who have never had the pleasure of having a chick-fil-a sandwhich. It is by far the best chicken sandwhich of any fast food chain, period. Especially when you baste it with the polynesian sauce. If anyone is trying it for the first time, this is what I'd recommend you try first! The nuggets and chicken strips are also very good. Much better than the chicken nuggets of other fast food establishments. And don't forget about the lemonade and the sweet tea. Simply delicious. Especially when you put them together for an Arnold Palmer. Finally, their service is unmatched by ANY fast food chain. If you don't believe me, dine in and I think you would agree. Someone is always coming around offering to get you a refill, or take away trash from your table. I can't wait till they come to Michigan Ave.!

I expected much more with all of the hype regarding this chain. Huge piece of fat in the center of my chicken sandwich.. They don't serve onions there at all... and they wont apply condiments for you. If they aren't going to do that, I'd rather just go to a sit down restaurant. Not a fan of the fries.. and was disgusted with the chicken salad. However, the food comes out very quickly and very hot. People taking the order messed up my order when i said no pickle 4 times. they kept trying to upsell to the meal when i only wanted to sandwich... not impressed.
